Just Roam ! A day in Chennai.

One fine morning, what if you feel lazy and feels like to took an off from your routine work. What is the first thing come to your mind. Yeah, it must be just sleep but, after that???? At the end of the day you feel regret of the day from your precious life has just wasted. So why not take your bike and just roam to the nearby places, it can be anything a beach, a heritage location. Take a day out and try.

Here for those who are in and around Chennai have some places. Yeah yeah I know Chennaikers don't need my suggestions. But still try me, coz i can give suggestions for Solo drive, Family trip, and quick getaway from boredom.

Mahabalipuram

Light House - Mahabalipuram

A quick drive anywhere from Chennai via ECR. On the way you will have couple of beaches to explore. Yeah Chennai heat, so lets start a bit early, let enjoy the Sunrise in the beach, then lets head towards some traditional Chennai cuisine for breakfast and head to the places such as Shore temple, Krishna's butter ball, Light house, Arjuna's penance etc. All the sight seeing localities are nearby and do not have to roam much and you can reach back to your home (if you are from Chennai) by evening. Those who are travelling to chennai and would like to explore Chennai, you can keep a day for this location and it is a must watch place to understand the history of Indian culture. Those who are coming to Chennai, Mahabalipuram is approx 55 KM from the airport and 56 KM from the railway station which can cover by road at a duration of 1&1/2 hours.

Shore Temple - Mahabalipuram

Pondicherry / Puducherry

The city of beaches. 150 KM away from Chennai by road approach. Not a day trip, it will take 3 odd hours from Chennai to Pondicherry / Puducherry. Yeah yeah you can make it in a day, but you don't have to hurry that much especially when you are out for trip to relax yourself or when you are out for some family time. This trip will give you a feel of a Goa trip, and this city can consider as the Goa of South India.

I know this city / UT wont be required to be known as shadow of other state, then why did i mention that way. Yeah, coz still many college students, youngsters are planning or dreaming to have a trip to Goa. Guys, you can plan your trip to here to have the same vibe.

You can find almost all the same things here like goa, beaches, Pubs, water games, boating etc. It will be an amazing place to have friends and family time, solo trip and everything you will get.

Chennai have lots of attractions. Be it industry wise, be it tourism perspective

One of the attraction of Chennai, to have a Zoo in the city. 37 KM away from Chennai city, 8 KM away from Tambaram city.

This is for a pure family trip who got small children's at home, especially when your cousins has come from hometown for vacation with their Kids or your parents has come from native place. Yeah, set aside sometime for them. While our relatives are around and you can take Sunday just to explore the whole Chennai. Start early from the beach or even late risers can start from the Zoo and end the day at the beach seeing the horizon in red, mind you no Sunset view in Chennai being East coast of the country, but still it is an amazing view.

Chennai have full of options for all age groups, Bachelors, families, Kids and what not. Go guys, traveling will definitely help to flush your mind out and helps to focus more effectively and productively.

Your family always need your time especially to your parents and kids, so take them to many possible suggestions a weekend trip to Mahabalipuram or Pondicherry, an evening trip to famous Marina or Besant Nagar beach, Marine Kingdome or Dakshina chitra heritage etc.
